The Dallas is Lit! Book & Author Fair is a public, non-ticketed, family friendly event featuring bookstores, author signings, literary organizations, literary-adjacent vendors, and creative activity suppliers. The Writer’s Garret is welcoming authors to register for 2-hour signing sessions.
Event Time: 10am-3pm Date: Saturday, May 9th Location: Arts Mission Oak Cliff (410 S. Windomere Ave.) Author Registration Fee: $50 for a 2-hour time slot
Authors will be assigned one of four time slots, based on first-come, first-served basis, either morning (10am-noon) or afternoon (12:30-2:30pm).
NOTE: If you are an organization interested in selling as a vendor, please go here. You may only sign up as an individual author OR a vendor.
Registration fee covers: – half of an 8′ table (black tablecloth) and chair for 65 minutes – publicity on the bookfair’s website and, when appropriate, social media – social media templates to build awareness about your attendance at the book fair

NOTE: Registration is not complete until payment is received. The Writer’s Garret reserves the right to decline to invite any author a time slot at the bookfair; in such an event, the registration fee will be returned.
