Individual Authors! Sign Up To Join The Dallas Is Lit! Book & Author Fair

The Dallas is Lit! Book & Author Fair is a public, non-ticketed, family friendly event featuring bookstores, author signings, literary organizations, literary-adjacent vendors, and creative activity suppliers. The Writer’s Garret is seeking authors for several signing time slots.

Event Time: 10am-3pm
Date: Saturday, May 17th
Location: Assembly Oak Cliff (919 Morrell Ave.)
Author Registration Fee: $40 for a 65 minute time slot

Authors will be assigned one of four time slots, based on first-come, first-served basis:
10:00am-11:05am
11:15am-12:20pm
12:30pm-1:35pm
1:45pm-2:50pm

NOTE: If you are an organization interested in selling as a vendor, please go here.

Registration fee covers:
– half of an 8′ table (black tablecloth) and chair for 65 minutes
– publicity on the bookfair’s website and, when appropriate, social media
– social media templates to build awareness about your attendance at the book fair

We appreciate your understanding. NOTE: Registration is not complete until payment is received. The Writer’s Garret reserves the right to decline to invite any author a time slot at the bookfair; in such an event, the registration fee will be returned.
