The Dallas is Lit! Book & Author Fair is a public, non-ticketed, family friendly event featuring bookstores, literary organizations, literary-adjacent vendors, and creative activity suppliers. The Writer’s Garret, is seeking vendors to sell during the fair.
Time: 10am-3pm Date: Saturday, May 9th Location: Arts Mission Oak Cliff (410 S. Windomere.) Vendor Fee: $100 for for-profit businesses, $50 for non-profit businesses and community organizations
Vendors are welcome to sell books, stationery, art and craft supplies, small art or craft works, and other items with a literary connection. Vendors are also welcome to distribute information regarding services and/or programs available through the vendor.
If you are an individual author looking to sell and sign books, please go here. You may only register as either a vendor OR an individual author.
Registration fee covers: – 8′ x 8′ vendor space for 5 hours (10am-3pm) – 6′ table and 2 chairs for the duration of the book fair – publicity on the bookfair’s website and, when appropriate, social media – social media templates to build awareness about your attendance at the book fair
PLEASE NOTE: The Vendor Hall at Arts Mission Oak Cliff is NOT ADA Accessible at this time. Entrance to the hall requires ascending 12 steps, totaling 8 feet in height. Please bear this in mind when deciding to whether to vend, and what you plan to bring (anything you bring in must be carried up the steps, and anything you don’t sell must be carried out). Significant, bulky shelving or furniture is strongly discouraged.

The Writer’s Garret reserves the right to decline to invite any organization to participate in the bookfair; in such an event, the registration fee will be returned.
