These free, monthly workshops are held on the third Saturday of the month, and offer writers of every genre and skill level an opportunity to learn, experiment and develop their craft. We hope you’ll join us!
What does “Creative” Nonfiction mean? This workshop will explore the truth behind creative nonfiction by looking at the creative essay by examining what makes an essay an essay and how much perceived “truth” it needs to contain.
Jasmyn Huff (she/her) studies Creative Nonfction at the Ph.D. level while also working as an IT specialist and coparenting her son. Her essays can be found in Black Warrior Review, X-R-A-Y, Bending Genres, Sweet Literary, Defunct Magazine, and SugarSugarSalt.
