Inner Moonlight – Tarfia Faizullah

Inner Moonlight is the monthly poetry series for the Wild Detectives! RSVP to meet us in the backyard at 7:30pm on Wednesday December 14th for a live reading from one featured writer, with a brief open mic to follow. Don’t worry, podcast fans! We will record the live show and release it as a podcast episode for y’all. This month we are excited to feature poet Tarfia Faizullah!

Tarfia Faizullah is the author of two poetry collections, Seam (SIU 2014) and Registers of Illuminated Villages (Graywolf 2018). Her poems have appeared widely both here and abroad, and have been translated into several languages. In 2016, Tarfia was recognized by Harvard Law School as one of 50 Women Inspiring Change.

Inner Moonlight is presented by The Writer’s Garret on the second Wednesday of every month. Mark your calendar and we’ll see you there!
