A Manifesto For Us All, the third and final performance of The Correspondence Project, a partnership between The Writer’s Garret and Badge Of Pride, explores six historic texts that set out to grapple with, define, and chart a future for the LGBTQ+ community. Beginning with material from the Gay Liberation Front Manifesto, published in 1971 in London, and charting a timeline over the next three decades, A Manifesto For Us All presents a powerful statement of Queer visibility, agency and pride.

The Writer’s Garret is excited to partner with Badge Of Pride, an award-winning LGBTQ history organization, to present a trio of performances titled The Correspondence Project. Drawing on texts by Queer icons from the past, and supplementing with newly commissioned material by local poets and writers, the performances of The Correspondence Project boldly proclaim and bring to light the truth that LGBTQ people have always been a part of the human story.
