We are now accepting submissions for new poetry and prose content to be published at Turn A Phrase.

To submit your work for possible publication, please email it as a single attachment, a .doc, .docx, or .txt file using 12-point Times New Roman, Arial, or Helvetica font to [email protected].

Selected features are published once a month.

Poetry submissions may include up to 5 poems, from which a maximum of two will be
chosen.

Prose submissions may include one or two items totaling no more than 20 pages. We accept short stories, essays and excerpts from novels or narrative nonfiction. A maximum of 10 pages of prose content will be published.

Each selected author will be paid an honorarium of $25.

In the text of your email, please provide the following:

• Your name as you would like it to appear upon publication
• A short bio (no longer than 150 words)
• Mailing address to receive payment after publication
• An author photo

If your work is accepted, we will contact you by email prior to publication. It is our endeavor to respond to submissions within two months; please allow that amount of time before contacting us with further inquiries about your work.
