DESCRIPTION:Inner Moonlight is the monthly poetry series for the Wild Detectives! RSVP to meet us in the backyard at 7:30pm on Wednesday January 10th for a live reading from one featured writer\, with a brief open mic to follow. Don’t worry\, podcast fans! We will record the live show and release it as a podcast episode for y’all. This month\, we are proud to present Lisa Huffaker!\nLisa Huffaker integrates poetry\, collage\, book arts\, and assemblage in many hybrid forms\, from sculptural vending machines to a book of visual poetry created from a misogynist “self improvement” manual. Her writing is published or forthcoming in The Georgia Review\, Gulf Coast\, Pleiades\, Cincinnati Review\, Diagram\, Sixth Finch\, Thrush\, 32 Poems\, and many other journals. Her visual poetry manuscript in progress was exhibited internationally as part of TU Delft and Cornell Tech’s 3rd Workshop on Obfuscation. She is Teaching Artist in Residence for the Writer’s Garret\, and a fine arts instructor at Oil and Cotton Creative Exchange.
