Two sessions offered:
June 9 - June 21 or
July 14 - July 25, 2008
Sessions meet Monday through Friday
9:00 a.m. - Noon or 1:00 p.m. - 4 p.m.

North Texas Writers in the Schools (WITS) and Writers in Neighborhoods (WIN) send writers to work closely with young people in 50-80 community and school programs each year. Sharing their passion for reading and writing, writers awaken each student’s imagination to the potential of language and self-expression. Read More
Writers' Community and Mentorship Project (CAMP) is a non-credit creative writing program founded by the 2003-04 Texas Poet Laureate, Jack Myers, to cultivate local literary talent. CAMP offers a unique combination of structure and flexibility for writers who want intensive study in poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction, or playwriting, but who may not have the time or money to pursue a fine arts degree.
